Everyone loves Weird Al. Chances are there’s at least one song you know the parody lyrics to better than the original, whether that’s “Amish Paradise,” “White and Nerdy,” “Word Crimes” or a classic like “Eat It.”

There’s a pattern to Weird Al fandom. You discover him as a pre-teen, love him, and then distance yourself as you get older and “cool.” Then, when you’re an adult, you realize “oh wait! Weird Al RULES.”

And it’s true! Because he’s been there the whole time, turning out hilarious parodies and pitch-perfect renditions of the biggest pop hits.

On August 19, Al will be bringing his symphonic “Strings Attached” tour to the Queen Elizabeth Theatre and if you either have kids or are a kid at heart you need to see it.

One of the most popular up-and-coming comedians in the world, Tom Segura is a wryly funny every man who reminds you of someone like Kevin James except with a more sardonic wit and sly smile. He’s got several specials on Netflix including the hilarious “Mostly Stories” and he and his wife host a hilarious and provocative podcast called “Your Mom’s House.” He’s one of the best and he’ll be performing his brand of hilarity at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre on August 17.
