Yes, you’ve been dreaming about it since you were a little kid – but here’s the good news – CandyTown actually comes to life in Vancouver’s funky Yaletown district each November!

Kick off the Holiday Season in Style

This is the 6th year that the annual outdoor Christmas festival has graced glorious Mainland Street with its traditional festivities. And it’s a big hit, attracting some 15,000 candy-seekers who want to kick of the holidays in style.

Downtown Vancouver’s only free winter festival transform Mainland Street into a winter wonderland. Lights and candy canes adorn lampposts and costumed characters parade down the street.

Shop Til You Drop

Holiday shoppers are invited to start their seasonal gift-buying in Yaletown’s wonderful boutiques and there’s also a specialty ‘All I Want for Christmas’ market offering a plethora of unique gifts and holiday treats. The whole event is abuzz with local artisans, street performers and live music.

The kids can take part in craft-making demos, face painting and balloon twisting at the Starlight Children’s Foundation tent.

Santa will be There

Add to that free horse carriage rides, visits with Santa and the Ice Queen, a Christmas tree lot and candy-making and ice-carving demonstrations and you’ll see why a visit to CandyTown in Yaletown is the best way to kick off the festive season in Vancouver.

This year’s CandyTown takes place on Saturday, November 25, 12 noon until 7pm.

The stylish Landis Hotel & Suites is perfectly located in the heart of downtown Vancouver, providing easy access to the city’s festival sites. Each suite features excellent downtown views, two bedrooms and separate living and dining areas. The property is also within walking distance of Stanley Park, Vancouver Art Gallery, historic Gastown and hip Yaletown.
